As the weather warms up down under, the spring and summer seasons announce themselves with colour and life, and for most of us a host of special occasions is clearly seen on the horizon. These most joyous of events inspire us via their rekindled connections with family and friends.

In line with the imminent silly season, Rustik Café & Foodstore in Benalla, North East Victoria, is hosting a special book signing event starring Australian homemaking and styling expert Chyka Keebaugh. Visiting Rustik on Friday, 18 October and signing books from 3:30pm, Chyka will greet guests and personally sign copies of her new book Chyka Celebrate – a complete and extremely gorgeous guide to themed entertaining throughout the year, with each page lovingly designed in Chyka’s signature and accessible style.

Upon arrival a premium organic Italian Prosecco will be on pour thanks to Epic Wines Online – a new Australian wine retailer specialising in minimal intervention wines. Rustik will also be laying on a creative foodie spread showcasing a grazing menu sampler of artisan Australian food-producer products which will include Peace Love and Vegetables (Byron Bay) condiments and spreads; Botanical Cuisine (Collingwood) dairy-free macadamia feta and cashew cheeses; No Grainer (Reservoir); Paleo breads; Tolpuddle (Tarrawingee) goats’ cheese and a range of fruit pastes from JimJam foods (Stanley, Victoria).

Rustik’s Julie Brown explains that the event will also be a great time for guests to explore the new range of items available in-store for Christmas 2019, and to perhaps have a book signed for that special someone, or indeed, for any loved one, making it the perfect celebratory gift.

‘I’ve followed Chyka Keebaugh’s design and style tips for many years, and I’m so excited to have her in-store for this special signing event’, says Julie. ‘It’s always been my dream to run an event with her, and it’s especially great to be hosting the Celebrate book signing, as it’s such a wonderfully accomplished, stunning new release.’
